Congratulations, Army. All the voting and outpouring support for the boys paid off again!

After their big win at the Billboard Music Awards last year, BTS bagged the Top Social Award for the second year in a row—beating fellow well-loved artists Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendez, Devi Lovato, and Justin Bieber.
The boys were warmly welcomed at the red carpet of the awards show earlier today, donning all-casual yet big-on-designer looks.

But not only fans raved about these K-pop idols. Big stars in the industry didn’t miss the chance to meet them as well.
We’re talking about BIG here: John Legend, Taylor Swift, and Tyra Banks to name a few.

But of course, the boys are also huge fanboys.
Like in this video they took with DJ Khaled:

Aside from the many highlights of the BBMAs this year—with live performances from Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez, and Janet Jackson, among many others—the boys had their fair share of the spotlight at the awards show (which was pretty telling from the screams of fans in the background!)
First was when BTS won the Top Social Award again for this year.
They dedicated their award to the fans, where RM said that they’re moved that a lot of people continue to tell them their music are changing lives. Watch the full speech here:

Second was of course the first live performance of their new song, “Fake Love,” also part of the “Love Yourself: Tear” released just last week.
If there’s something this 7-member group is good at, it’s being extra.
The fans are nothing less though. Listen to all the cheering when BBMAs host Kelly Clarkson started introducing the next performer.

And what we saw from today’s performance was everything we would expect from BTS.

Definitely looking forward to more performances from these guys, especially on the other tracks from their new album!
