While most of us would say no sequel or adaptation will ever compare to the original version of a movie, book, or music material, there are instances wherein the newer version trumps its predecessor.
Case in point this video remake of Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’ music video:

The video was created in 2017 by Jade Velasco and her friends as an application entry for the college organization, University of the Philippines Gears and Pinions.
Even though this was meant to be a parody video of Dua Lipa’s music video, we can’t help but admire these Pinoys’ dedication to imitating the singer’s dance moves and choreography.
