Ekaterina Lukasheva, a Moscow-based paper artist, creates mesmerizing origami pieces that move.  She began developing an interest for puzzles and construction sets in her teens, and her aptitude for mathematics helped her become proficient in creating complex origami pieces.

Lukasheva is able to make the complicated designs thanks to her university degree in mathematics and programming. She has authored several books on the subject where she shares designs that she created herself.

Check out some of her works below:

That’s how 😎 Finally moved this video from my youtube 🙂 Let me know if you want more such videos ;). The paper is pre-scored in advance (more about it at blog.kusudama.me). But magic is not in that, but in collapsing it simultaneously 🧞‍♀️. . #origami #how #howto #threeeasysteps #stopmotion #origamimaster #masterpiece #80lvl #paper #paperfolding #curvedfolding #tessellation #mathart #art #geometry #magic #ekaterinalukasheva #thisishowitsdone #spiral Music by Mozart, Ronda a la Turca played by Alessandro Deljavan (CC standard license).
