UP Anthropology students launches exhibits and workshops

During the first semester of the academic year 2017-2018, the Anthropology 197 class (Laboratory and Field Techniques in Physical Anthropology Research) under the supervision of Dr. Francisco Datar, conducted a comparative study between highland and lowland communities, represented by Kiangan, Ifugao and Krus na Ligas respectively. Somatometry exercises, the measurement of living humans, were performed on both elementary and highschool students to understand the growth and development patterns present in each population. Anthro 278 class (Ethnographic Field Methodology) handled by the same professor, simultaneously did a research on the culture of Kiangan, Ifugao.
