LOOK: French library seamlessly integrates fiction with reality through Instagram photos

Books just got 1000x more interesting!

Books are known to transport us to worlds we’ve never been before. From the magical realm that is the Wizarding World to the medieval setting of Westeros, these items of literature encourage us to venture into new landscapes through the eyes of different personas.

Oftentimes we get enveloped in the story — absorbing every little detail of the characters’ personalities and dispositions.

But what if there was a way we can merge our faces with those in the books we read? More importantly, what if we become the covers of our favorite novels?

In this library located in Bordeaux Cedex, France, the staff literally become the faces of the book covers.

These photos are a part of Librairie Mollat’s Instagram series called #BookFace, wherein they upload photos of their staff merged with the covers of the books in the library.

The results are these beautiful yet intriguing images of fiction merged with reality.
