We know what it’s like to have our crushes acknowledge us. We get a natural high from the instantaneous heart-thumping feeling we Filipinos call ‘kilig’ –that eye contact, the slight touching of hands, or even the sound of our name on their lips.
It seems no one is immune to “kilig”… not even International Pop star Katy Perry. In the video below, Perry couldn’t help but gush, smile, and stare at how handsome (and talented) aspiring singer, Trevor Holmes was during his American Idol audition.
Don’t worry Katy, we’d probably be screaming inside too if Holmes started singing to us!
