UP Aguman’s Sining holds The Kapampángan Millenial: Báyung Talasése ning Kultúrang Mána

UP Aguman’s Sining, the most anticipated arts and talent competition in Pampanga, returns this February 10 and 17 for its 35th year with the theme The Kapampángan Millenial: Báyung Talasése ning Kultúrang Mána. The 1st day of Sining 2018 will be held at Philippine Science High School Central Luzon Campus, and the 2nd day will be at SM City Clark. Sining 2018 aims to present how the current generation enriches Kapampángan culture by incorporating their own identity to the rich and well-cultivated culture of the Kapampángan community.

This competition highlights the role of technology in shaping the potential of the current generation for the preservation of the Kapampángan identity. To cater to this purpose, another category was added- Smartphone Photography. Various categories remain like Short-Film Making, Impromptu Speech, Essay Writing, Music Art Illustration, Still-Life Drawing, Poetry Writing, Declamation, and Crissotan for Day 1; Solo Singing, A Capella, Modern Street Dance, Rockoustic, and Junk Art Fashion Show for Day 2.

Sining 2018 is open to all students representing Pampanga-based schools. Important updates are posted at the official UP Aguman’s Sining Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/AguSining/.
