This illustrator turns iconic TV and film scenes into retro pixel art

Gustavo Viselner, a pixel artist from Tel Aviv, Israel, recreates famous scenes from TV shows and movies into 8-bit art that looks like they came from vintage video games. Pixel art came from early drawing and painting software, and became popularized in the 80s through computer games.

“For me, pixel art is no longer just a graphics tool for games, but a form of art that can stand out without having a video game to support it,” Viselner stated.
