Many of us have heard the term, “the one that got away” or “TOTGA,” as many Pinoys like to call it nowadays. It’s a title we often use to describe former friends, lovers and even crushes who we thought we could’ve had a serious relationship with.
For some lucky individuals, their TOTGAs turned into their partners for life. While for many others, their TOTGAs will remain as a fleeting memory of a lost love interest.
But this reality hasn’t stopped a number of hopeless romantics from wanting to start a relationship with the person they deem “got away.” Some even make it their goal for the year.
And then, there’s this Pinay Facebook user who jokingly created a powerpoint presentation to explain why she should be dated by her crush.
It all started on January 2, when Mari Arceo posted on Facebook how her crush “seen-zoned” her when she greeted him a Happy New Year.
As Arceo wrote in her post, she suggested making a powerpoint presentation that detailed her qualities and attributes as a potential girlfriend. Though many snickered at her proposal, she proved them wrong when she recently posted screenshots of the powerpoint slides on her Facebook page. Here are the photos to prove it:
Though this presentation might give off a serious vibe, Arceo notes that the whole thing was created as a joke and that the content should be taken lightly. She writes on her Facebook page, “This post is only for fun. [And it is] so you guys will have a good laugh [,] especially [for] my friends. The person I sent this to knows it is only a joke and [that] we’re good friends. I just hope [you] guys have a fun start in 2018.”
