If you’re wondering why Manila was featured in a DC comics, it’s because two Filipino artists, Jason Paz and Carlo Pagulayan, worked on Wonder Woman #37 and incorporated several elements of the Philippines and its culture in the story. You could even see the “LODI Motors” sign on the flying jeepney!

In real life, all the damage from Wonder Woman and Darkseid’s clash would definitely cause even worse traffic especially in these places. Heck, there probably won’t be just one flying jeepney because there’d be a lot of cars for them to lift and throw in the air in EDSA alone. Can you also even imagine Aquaman in Manila Bay or in Pasig River?

Since Justice League is in Manila to fight forces of evil, maybe they can get a little help from our own team of superheroes. After all, who wouldn’t want to see Wonder Woman and Darna fighting together like the badass women they are?
