After 10 years, Mayday Parade still continues to teach “A Lesson in Romantics”

American rock band Mayday Parade returns to Manila to give young revelers a rockin’ concert at the Kia Theater last Saturday, October 7.

The concert marks the 10th year anniversary of their debut album, A Lesson in Romantics, featuring one of their most popular song to date, Miserable At Best. The band performed all 12 tracks from the album to the delight of their fans who sang along with them.They also played other hits such as Terrible Things, Stay, Three Cheers for Five Years, and Oh Well, Oh Well.

Though it’s Mayday Parade’s fifth time in the country, Derek Sanders, the lead vocalist of the band, was overwhelmed by the energy and excitement the crowd had that night. He repeatedly thanked them and said: “It is our fifth time in the Philippines and it gets better every single time. Especially now that we are singing songs that are 10 years old, and you are all singing along with them. Thank you so much.”
