FPLA and DPWH: Building the nation, one cadet engineer at a time

MANILA, Philippines – First Pacific Leadership Academy – the 1st Corporate University of the country, has been helping the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in running their successful Cadetship Engineering Program since 2013.

Now gearing up for it’s 4th batch, the coming months shall see FPLA as they take on the NCR and provincial caravan across regions in the country to begin the rigorous and stringent process of choosing the cadets from the roster of Engineers in the different offices of the DPWH. The NCR kicks off the recruitment, to be followed by hubs located in the following areas – Legazpi , Baguio, Cebu and Davao. After the initial set of interviews, they will then go through the second and more stringent process of selection to be held at the sprawling 10 – hectare home of the First Pacific Leadership Academy in Antipolo City.

Led by Roy Agustin K. Evalle, FPLA’s General Manager and Executive Director, the Academy continues to support the different sectors in and out of the country, from corporate, to government, to NGOs in their quest to strengthen their leaders and provide opportunities to develop young people to be future Thought Leaders. These aspirations are made possible by the excellent Leadership, Human Resource and Organizational Development, as well as Innovation programs that are being offered in FPLA.
