Spoiler alert for those who somehow haven’t watched it yet, but honestly, who could forget one of Marvel’s most anticipated movies?

From Thanos wiping out half of all life in the universe in the ‘Avengers: Infinity War;’ to Captain America finally wielding Mjolnir against Thanos; the iconic portals scene; and, of course, the heartbreaking death of Tony Stark/Iron Man, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ will forever be remembered by the fans.
And with a new Avengers movie set to come out this December, some are asking whether the exclusive re-release of the iconic movie is worth spending money on.
What’s new for ‘Encore’?
Marvel Studios announced that the record-breaking ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is returning to theaters beginning September 25, ahead of the release of the highly anticipated ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ on December 18. The theatrical return is expected to build excitement for the upcoming film.
Coming out on IMAX and Infinity Vision, this encore serves as a tie-in for the new superhero film and will also show additional clips and sneak peeks to it. It will run for three hours and five minutes, four minutes longer from the original movie released in 2019.
But some fans asked: is that it?
While some seemed to not be entirely convinced on watching, others have expressed how they’re willing to spend their money to watch the movie in theaters again.
What also builds up the excitement is how fans noticed some changes from the original version to the encore release, particularly the improved visuals and color grading, which made the film even more exciting to watch again.

Is it nostalgia speaking? Probably! After all, ‘Endgame’ remains, at least for now, the last film in which Robert Downey Jr. played the beloved Iron Man before returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the villain Doctor Doom in ‘Doomsday.’
The upcoming superhero movie is projected to be Marvel’s biggest film yet. Beloved characters from the ‘X-Men,’ ‘Fantastic Four,’ ‘Ant-Man,’ ‘Thor,’ and ‘Black Panther’ franchises are also set to return. The Thunderbolts, now known as the “New Avengers,” will likewise be part of the film.
Whether they choose to watch the encore release or not, Marvel fans are still getting ready for the new Avengers movie hitting theaters this December.
