Rex Orange County reunites with Daniel Caesar for new single ‘Indecision’

After spending the past few weeks bringing his music closer to fans through an intimate series of surprise pop-up performances in their own homes, multi-platinum artist Rex Orange County returns today with “Indecision”, a soulful new single that finds him reuniting with GRAMMY award-winning artist Daniel Caesar. Fans can stream the new single HERE.

A ballad featuring each artist’s distinctly soulful voices, “Indecision” captures the push and pull of uncertainty that comes with second-guessing yourself, between what you feel and what you know.

The single, which has been named BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record, arrives alongside a music video shot in Montana by Rhys Scarabosio. Sonically, “Indecision” deepens the chemistry Rex and Daniel first established on their collaborative 2025 double single, “Rearrange My World / There’s a Field (That’s Only Yours)”, while extending a creative partnership that has continued to grow. Rex later co-write and co-produced several tracks from Daniel’s 2025 album, ‘Son of Spergy’, making their latest collaboration a natural evolution of an already fruitful musical connection.

The original sound from last week’s teaser has already generated more than 900 creations and 20 million views across Instagram and TikTok, underscoring the growing anticipation around the track. Over the past few weeks, Rex has taken his music directly to fans, staging intimate living-room performances while teasing unreleased material, including “Indecision”. He is now bringing that same spontaneous spirit to Southeast Asia, where his intimate living-room shows have quickly gone viral, generating a wave of fan excitement and social buzz across the region. The run spans Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila, and Jakarta, before he takes the stage as a headliner at LaLaLa Festival in Manila and Jakarta.
