On March 21, 2025, the SDG Action Summit will bring together young changemakers, educators, and advocates at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall to take action for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This free public event, organized annually, aims to advance Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and inspire meaningful change in the Philippines. This year’s event is co-presented by Global Changemaker Schools, 3ZERO House Philippines and the International School for Better Beginnings (ISBB).
This event aligns with SDG Target 4.7, which promotes education for global citizenship, sustainability, and human rights. By bringing together individuals and organizations passionate about education and advocacy, the SDG Action Summit aims to empower attendees with the knowledge and resources to create change in their classrooms and beyond.

Education Beyond the Classroom
Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to tackle global challenges such as climate change, inequality, and poverty at a local level. By integrating sustainability into education, students are empowered to think critically, take action, and contribute to a just and resilient society. With the Philippines ranking highest on the World Risk Index 2024 and a poverty incidence of 10.9% as of 2023, the role of schools in equipping students to drive sustainable solutions has never been more urgent.
The SDG Action Summit 2025 urges schools, educators, and policymakers to:
- Filipinos to understand the UN SDGs in a local context and see how they connect to everyday challenges and opportunities.
- Individuals to take action for the SDGs — whether by making mindful spending choices (how we use our money) or engaging in volunteerism (how we give our time)
- Schools and educators to learn how collaboration fuels action for sustainability
The event is free and open to the public and will run from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
