K-drama fanatics take on the first look at Netflix’s new original series, Genie, Make A Wish, starring Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy.

 

Fans all over the world generate significant buzz for the upcoming series as it marks the highly anticipated reunion of Woo-bin and Suzy since their last drama, ‘Uncontrollably Fond’, in 2016.

The story follows Jinn (Kim Woo-bin), a genie who is awakened after many years, finding himself out of touch with the world. His path crossed with Ka Young (Bae Suzy), a woman trapped within the walls of her grandmother’s rules and rigid routines who also struggles with emotional detachment. As their worlds collide with each other, the enchanting fantasy rom-com unfolds, circling around the conflicts of their three life-changing wishes.

Alongside a dynamic ensemble of supporting characters, the series promises excitement and thrill making it a must-watch for fans. With the unique blend of fantasy and romantic-comedy, Genie, Make A Wish, is set to captivate audiences when it premieres in the second quarter of 2025.
