Despite hearing negative remarks about working with Denise Julia, Pascual still decided to take the job.

“I guess medyo kasalanan ko rin [it’s kind of my fault] that I still took the job, and it was more like a passion project cause her manager JV called me many times, like, would message me on Instagram and so we had a meeting,” he stated.

Pascual, who was at that point creatively burned out, wished to help artists like Denise Julia.

A few months later, the photographer was contacted once more by the singer’s management for a new single and album. They invited him to work on the music video and the album cover to which he agreed on doing.

Problems started to surface after having a meeting with Denise Julia’s team, despite having a pleasant start. Her team started to question the expenses for the shoot.

“Ang babayaran na lang nila is manpower and materials [The only thing they will pay for is the manpower and materials]. There is no talent fee. This is charity work na. Sabi ng manager ko, ‘They want to cancel daw the shoot.’ The reason was nag-flake daw yung hairstylist nila [This is charity work already. My manager said, ‘They want to cancel the shoot.’ The reason was because their hairstylist flaked],” he stated.

The photographer was left to handle the aftermath upon learning that shoot was being canceled.

Pascual also revealed that Denise’s team refused to pay the cancellation fee, stating that they had not yet reached an agreement that would allow the photographer’s team to proceed.

He ended his story noting that he never heard from Denise Julia or her team again after the said incident.

Upon seeing the video of his revelation, social media user took online to share their thoughts on his confession on the podcast.
