BTS sets new record as all seven members land Billboard 200 top 10s as soloists

All members of the world-renowned K-pop boy group BTS have hit the Billboard 200 chart’s top 10 as soloists as Jin’s latest album debuts at no. 4 on the latest ranks.

His album ‘Happy’ joins his fellow BTS members Jimin, Jung Kook, RM, Suga, J-Hope, and V with individual top 10s.

BTS first reached the top 10 as a group with their hit song LOVE YOURSELF: Her when it debuted in 2017.

On the Oct. 7, 2017-dated chart, the group’s song peaked at no.7 and became the first of seven top 10s for the act, with six reaching no.1.

Fans show their excitement and overjoy over the milestone of the hit singer on social media platforms.

“This is truly a historic achievement! Each BTS member has earned this milestone through their individual hard work and talent,” one X (formerly known as Twitter) user said.

Another social media user said, “Congrats to JIN on the impressive debut! 🎉 Hitting #4 on the Billboard 200 is no small feat. Well-deserved!”

“Jin’s impact is undeniable! Huge numbers and well-deserved recognition for ‘HAPPY’!” a third X user said.

The first member of the K-pop sensation to reach the top 10 as a solo artist was RM, wherein his studio album ‘Indigo’ reached no. 3 on the December 31, 2022-dated chart.

He since then visited the top 10 ranking with ‘Right Place, Wrong Person,’ which reached no. 5 on the June 8, 2024-dated list.

As of writing, Jin’s album ‘Happy’ climbed up to the 3rd spot of the chart.

The first BTS member to reach the top 10 as a soloist was RM, who reached No. 3 on the Dec. 31, 2022-dated chart with Indigo. He’s since visited the top 10 again with Right Place, Wrong Person, which reached No. 5 on the June 8, 2024-dated list.
