Rosé shared how Taylor Swift offered her ear, gave her advice on solo career

In a sea of preparations and discovering the depths of a solo career, BLACKPINK Rosé seems to have found the best advisor when she felt like “drowning a little.”

In a recently released interview by I-D, Rosé revealed some stories and experiences she had while working on her solo debut album.

One of them includes her conversation with the Era’s Tour star Taylor Swift, who was a guest as well on an impromptu hangout hosted by Jack Antonoff last September.

“I told her I’m such a huge fan and I just had some questions. As soon as she met me, she’s like ‘Spill, let me help you out,’” Rosé recalls in the interview.

“She gave me her experiences and was so ready to help me. She gave me her number and she’s like, ‘Let me know if you have any questions.’ Who does that? Like, you’re Taylor Swift!” Rosé seems to be amazed at how Swift was more than happy to provide some advice.

“I’m really grateful for her because I was at a moment where I was drowning a little,” Rosé continued on.

“She is literally the coolest, and she’s such a girl’s girl. She was telling me – make sure to take care of this, this and this – like, logistics. She was trying to protect me. Me becoming solo, being independent, it’s not an easy thing. There are a lot of things I should be careful with, and she gave me a rundown on all the things I have to look out for. That was the coolest part – she’s killed it in the game, and she was kind enough to walk me through.”

The news of the interaction delights some fans, even calling Rosé as Swift’s new daughter and debunking some recent internet rumor of Taylor Swift not being a girl’s girl.
