Fans react, unravel the deep meanings hidden in SEVENTEEN’s ‘Eyes on You’ music video

K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN has just released their music video for “Eyes on You.”

The second song from the K-pop boy band’s most recent mini-album, “Spill The Feels,” gets a music video which was unveiled on October 21 at midnight KST. The project’s lead single, “Love, Money, Fame,” which featured DJ Khaled, was initially made available on October 14.

As SEVENTEEN promises to find one another again despite death, the “Eyes On You” music video honors the 2014 science fiction movie “I Origins” by telling a story of passionate, unwavering love.

Upon seeing the music video, fans took to social media to share their thoughts about the recent release with some sharing their thoughts about the meaning of the music video.

One user wrote, “This is probably about the perspective of the person, how the person sees the things with his own eyes . Like how a person is not with us but if we think that they are with us then our eyes show them to us. It is basically how we make life come to non-existing things.”

“Plot is so insane like everyone is breaking up, someone is dying, scoups is still bisexual (obviously), DINO, food is so good they even forgot who died THIS IS WHAT CINEMA IS ABOUT,” a second user wrote.

A third user wrote, “what i got from the ‘eyes on you’ mv is that seventeen will always be there for one another and they’re just basically showing off again their love for their members WE GET IT YOU’RE ALL MARRIED TO ONE ANOTHER WE KNOOOOOW”.

The US leg of SEVENTEEN’s 2024-2025 “Right Here” global tour is scheduled to begin on October 22 and 23 in stadiums and arenas across the United States after the release of “Spill The Feels.” Following that, the K-pop group will tour Asia in January and February 2025, doing five shows in four different countries.

Pledis Entertainment stated before the album’s release that members Jun and Jeonghan would not be taking part in the group’s globe tour and mini-album promotions.

While Jun has returned to China to pursue other endeavors, including a number of acting projects, Jeonghan on the other hand has recently enlisted for his required two years of military service.
