Festival-goers groove to Asian talent at ‘2024 Asiya: Asian Music Festival’

Excitement has filled the festival-goers as the 2024 Asiya: Asian Music Festival has occurred once again celebrating artists around Asia.

With Day 2 commencing at the World Trade Center, homegrown artists as well as international acts showcased their talent turning it into a giant celebration.

The festival kicked off with genre-fluid duo Ysanygo who had the crowd grooving with their captivating performance. In the middle of their set, the duo even took the time to chat with the audience just like what casual friends do.

Continuing a chill vibrant vibe, performers 9m88, Salasa, and Jose Miguel gave a different blend to their performance by combining Jazz with other genres.

From a much chiller atmosphere, each performance from the lineup has slowly been building up the energy of the audience.

High energy kicked in afterwards as Zild hit the stage with some of his most notable hits such as “Kyusi” and “Medisina” to name a few.

Aside from performing her own songs, Singaporean singer-songwriter Shye sang a cover of IV of Spades’ “Come Inside of My Heart” which made everyone smile and sang along with her throughout the song.

All eyes were on singer Juan Karlos once he took the stage as he serenaded the crowd with “Gusto Kita,” “Demonyo,” “Buwan,” “may halaga pa ba ako sayo,” “Limang Taon, ” and “Ere.”

The festival then turned into a giant dance party as alternative K-pop group Balming Tiger hit the stage.

Capping off the night was no other than the nation’s girl group BINI. Excitement was all over the venue as the P-pop group lit up the stage with their electrifying performance. BINI captured the hearts of the festival-goers as they performed “Cherry on Top,” “Karera,” “Salamin Salamin,” and “Pantropiko.”

From the beginning up until the end, the “Asiya” festival gave festival-goers a core memory that they would always keep in their hearts while celebrating local and international artists from different Asian countries.
