A recap on DanTDM vs. Mr. Beast, Logan Paul and KSI ‘lunchly’ drama

Earlier this month Mr. Beast, Logan Paul and KSI, announced the release of their collaborative meal pack that they claim to be a competitor of the iconic “lunchables” brand. DanTDM, considered as one of the ‘OG’ Youtubers, saw and reacted with a tweet that stirred a debate among the 4 content creators, and many others.

During an Instagram live, Youtube star Jimmy ‘Mr. Beast’ Donaldson announced his partnership with fellow content creators Logan Paul and KSI to create ‘Lunchly’ that features Prime Hydration, a beverage brand owned both my Logan Paul and KSI, and Feastables candy, a chocolate bar brand owned by Mr. Beast.

In a tweet, DanTDM reacted in disappointment to how Youtubers are today, saying how he can’t keep quiet about it anymore and that it was “selling crap to kids who don’t know better than to trust the people who are selling it to them.”

This was then reacted to by Logan Paul, answering DanTDM that after Youtubers produce content and create their brands, they are now creating their own businesses. He then cited the lead bans facing the brand Lunchables and that they are creating a better version because of this.

KSI in reply to DanTDM’s tweet chose to criticize Dan’s own toy merchandise, saying it “Looks like crap to me,” and when others pointed out it’s not food, shared screenshots of Dan’s old promotion of a sponsored food box.

Many other content creators and even fans chose on which side they are from these two sides of content creators.

Mr Beast replied on the reaction other Youtubers have in regards to their product, claiming their goal is to have a better alternative from Lunchables.

It is to note that Mr Beast is being sued along with Amazon for alleged abuses during the production of “Beast Games,” his reality competition show.

Logan Paul seemed to have started a different debate against X community notes, that was continually fact checking his mention of ‘Lunchables’ lead when one of their own flavors for Lunchly, was said to have contained lead according to the Environmental Research Center.

On September 22, KSI posted on Youtube a video titled, “Everybody hates us right now!” reacting to the feedback they received after their announcement of ‘Lunchly,’ it was similarly reacted to by Logan Paul on his own channel.

They reiterated their same responses on X, while also reading through the comments made by everyone on all the posts made.
