American singer-hitmaker Sabrina Carpenter is allegedly in the middle of, yet again, another love triangle.
Fans speculate that her song ‘Taste’ from her newest album ‘Short and Sweet’ is about Camilla Cabello, Shawn Mendes’ former girlfriend, as Mendes and Carpenter briefly sparked a dating rumor in the previous year.
While none of the three stars have publicly commented on the ongoing theories, fans continue to stir and thicken the plot of the supposed love triangle.

Early last year, a gossip account named DeuxMoi speculated that the two singers are dating as an anonymous source said they saw the two together. Soon after, pictures of them together were publicly released.

On March 13, 2023, a source told Entertainment Tonight that they were “seeing each other” but “trying to keep things low-key.” However, a few days later, Mendes shut down the dating rumors.
“We are not dating,” he told RTL Boulevard.
From April to May of 2023, the two celebrities rekindled their old romance as they were spotted kissing during the first weekend of Coachella 2023 and were later spotted walking around New York City together.
However, in June 2023, a source close to Mendes and Cabello told Entertainment Tonight that the couple are no longer together.
Carpenter released her Christmas EP ‘Fruitcake’ last November, where her track ‘Cindy Lou Who’ caused commotion to the fans.
Fans believed that Carpenter’s ‘Cindy Lou Who’ is about Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes, following their appearance together at the Coachella music festival in California last year.
In Alex Cooper’s Podcast called Call Me Daddy last March, Cabello addressed her break-up with Mendes extensively.
“I will always care about him and love him […] I think you’re just kind of like, yeah, this doesn’t really… it’s not a fit — it doesn’t feel right […] This doesn’t feel right, and we don’t really need to try so hard to make it work. It’s all good, let’s move on,” she said.
Last June 28, Cabello Released ‘C, XOXO’ with her track ‘June Gloom,’ which fans speculated is about Sabrina Carpenter.
In August 23, Carpenter released ‘Short and Sweet’ which fueled the flame of the love triangle rumors once again.
The latest development to their lore was when the three hitmakers appeared and performed at the VMAs in New York City last September 11, which made fans re-ignite the resting conspiracies between the three.
