Gerard Salonga Star Wars A New Hope In Concert

Fans of all ages converged at the Theater at Solaire and lined up to take photos with local Star Wars fan groups, such as Star Wars Philippines, the 501st Garrison, Rebel Legion, Fightsaber PH, and R2 Builders, all dressed in costume. The whole gang was there—from Darth Vader to Chewbacca, and everyone’s favorite droid, R2-D2. Many fans were also dressed up, adding to the fun! In total, the three concerts over the weekend were attended by just under 5,000 guests.

As the doors opened and the audience took their seats, excitement filled the air. The cheers began as soon as the Lucasfilm logo appeared on screen, growing even louder when the orchestra launched into the iconic Main Title. From start to finish, the crowd watched and listened in awe. Each show concluded with a standing ovation and a special encore from Gerard Salonga and the Filharmonika.

Star Wars fans left the event with lightsabers in hand, their nostalgia, and love for the saga burning brighter than ever.
