On July 2 at Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu, JBL introduced a new lineup of audio essentials, including revolutionary offerings like audio glasses, earbuds, and party speakers. These innovations boast features such as OpenSound technology, Smart Charging Case™, Auracast, and AI Sound Boost, promising an enhanced audio experience like never before.
As part of the celebration, JBL also announced ‘HORI7ON ‘as their new Brand Ambassador. The 7-member Filipino boyband, based in South Korea, captivated the audience with a performance of their latest single, “Lucky.”
It was then followed by the official contract signing ceremony. Key figures present included Larry Secreto, Director of Consumer Audio at Harman Philippines; Grace Koh, Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Audio at Harman Asia Pacific; and Lee Hyoung Jin, CEO of MLD Entertainment Co., Ltd.
Expressing their enthusiasm, Marcus of HORI7ON remarked, ““It is definitely an honor for HORI7ON especially that JBL is a known brand all over the world. We ourselves use the brand a lot, so it is really like almost unreal to us. We really appreciate it,” Marcus, a member of HORI7ON, stated.
Larry Secreto further explained JBL’s decision to collaborate with HORI7ON, stating, “There is a continuous rise of K-Pop fans in the country. We are bringing the best P-pop artists in the Philippines because many of our products are attracting younger, more Gen Z customers.”
