The return of Goin’ Bulilit is set to air starting July 1 and some may have noticed that a core cast member would not be returning for the hit sketch comedy show’s comeback.
Goin’ Bulilit has recently announced their new cast for the return of the show but it does not include the iconic part of the show, Dagul.
Content creator Renz Joshua Baña also known as “Baby Giant” will be filling in the shoes of Dagul in the show.
Dagul’s daughter Jkhriez Pastrana came forward on TikTok during her live and was saddened by the news that her father would not be part of the new cast.
Walang social media si papa [He’s also sad guys. He wants you guys to be able to still watch him. So here in this live, using this live, I post them here using this TikTok because he doesn’t have social media. Dad doesn’t have social media accounts.],” as stated by his daughter in the video.
Social media users have mixed reactions and took to social media to express their thoughts about the said casting.
Upon garnering reactions from the masses, his daughter clarified the issue stating that she has no issues with the casting.
I just want to make it clear to you that I’m not sad because my dad is not on Goin’ Bulilit. I’m only sad about the issues that are coming out, and it’s okay with me that my dad is not on Goin’ Bulilit.]”
“Okay lang sa amin guys kasi choice nila yun so I’m so happy din sa bago pero nalulungkot ako guys dahil sa mga issue na nangyayari ganon. Ayoko kasi ng issue guys. Mas gusto ko lang na clear tayong lahat and good vibes. [It’s okay with us guys because that’s their choice so I’m so happy for the new cast but I’m sad because of the issue that is happening like that. I don’t like issues guys. I just really want to be clear with all of you and have good vibes],” she ended her statement.
