Fans express displeasure after HYBE appoints a new management team for ADOR

Welp, now this is definitely a major development in their ongoing feud.

HYBE has already organized a brand-new management for its subsidiary label ADOR, much to the displeasure of stans. This new management already includes a brand-new CEO, who will replace ADOR’s current CEO Min Hee-jin.

Min Hee-jin’s removal as CEO is most likely to happen during ADOR’s upcoming shareholders’ meeting, which is scheduled for May 31, 2024. As the owner of an 80% stake in ADOR, HYBE is also likely to use their voting rights to remove Min Hee-jin and replace her and her entire management with their newly arranged one.

HYBE is also set to share the results of their audit on ADOR during the meeting, as well as present other evidence stating that Min Hee-jin had been planning a coup. In turn, Min Hee-jin will possibly present evidence to disprove HYBE’s statements and demand HYBE to honor their previous 5-year CEO term agreement.

Social media users were obviously not pleased with this report and said that HYBE was absolutely “shameless” for doing this. Others also wished for HYBE’s downfall and wished for NewJeans to have a new home.

The outcome of this will not only shape ADOR’s future but also have lasting implications for the artists under its wing, particularly NewJeans, whose fans are fervently hoping for a favorable resolution.
