Bringing the influencer agenda in the 20th AdCongress

The AdCongress, an annual seminar organized by the Department of Advertising and Public Relations (DAPR) of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Sta. Mesa (PUP), is gearing up for its 20th edition, from February 13 to February 15 at the PUP Claro M. Recto Hall.

This year’s theme, “ADPORTAL: Traversing Through The Maze of ADPR Innovation,” will explore recent advancements to acquire techniques and skills applicable to current advertising and public relations industry standards. Each seminar serves as a guide to assist and support aspiring ADPR practitioners toward overcoming potential challenges and staying ahead of field-related issues. 

Influencer Marketing Landscape 

The timely relevance of influencers has led BAPR 4-2N, a participating section, to shed light on this topic. Their seminar is entitled “THE CONSCIENCE CODE: Unraveling the Path Toward Responsible Influencer Marketing” that will take place on the first day of AdCongress (February 13), 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 

This will delve into essential subjects including gaining insights into Public Relations and its significance in the advertising industry, aligning influencer values with brand contracts, addressing common crises, mastering strategies for effective management, and exploring long-term considerations in the realm of influencer marketing. 

The Maze Masters

Guidance will be provided to navigate this venture successfully and prevent missteps. The speakers for this event include prominent personalities such as the viral content creator Mark “Macoy Dubs” Averilla, Erwin Furugganan from Ad Standards Council (ASC), and Gerald Lim from MullenLowe TREYNA.
