The award-winning Jameson Distillery On Tour (JDOT) has come back to the Philippines for the second time, bringing an immersive experience for Filipinos to enjoy. Running from December 8 to 23, at the 9th Avenue Bonifacio High Street Activity Center in BGC, Taguig, attendees can expect a showcase of astonishing activities and music performances at the event.
Jameson’s Story
The guests are taken into a deep dive into the rich history of Jameson on this multi-sensory tour. Named after its founder, Scotsman John Jameson, in 1780, the Irish whiskey brand still stands out with its triple-distilled, smooth, and zesty taste. Most whiskeys only get at least a double distillation, but Jameson makes sure they provide the perfectly balanced blend that whiskey lovers will crave. Furthermore, it looks to continue its legacy by making new flavors, collaborating with local artists, and introducing the product to different places around the world.
Ms. Aiobhe Murtagh, one of the brand ambassadors of Jameson Irish Whiskey in the Philippines, is excited to share more knowledge about Jameson with the country and looks forward to converting people who are new to the brand.
“The tour has been in New York, Johannesburg, Seoul in Korea, and most recently, Lagos in Nigeria. So it’s in its second year here in the Philippines, and it’s even bigger and better this year. Hopefully, I will have converted some of you to Jameson Whiskey if you don’t drink it already,” she stated.
Sláinte!
Upon registration, guests can engage in the main attraction of the distillery on tour: the tasting experience. Prepare to delve into the process of whiskey making and savor the unique smoothness of Jameson Irish Whiskey.
After finishing the tour, attendees can head over to the merchandise selling area to receive their free JDOT kit, consisting of a customizable Jameson tote bag and sticker pack. The whiskey brand has collaborated with Dickies to create exclusive tour merchandise, featuring shirts, hoodies, caps, and towels. This limited-edition collection is designed to amp up fans and is available only for the duration of the tour. And of course, we cannot forget the Jameson Irish Whiskey that everyone can indulge in!
Sounds good, feels good
Meanwhile, art and music lovers won’t want to miss JDOT as it offers a diverse selection of vinyl from Ben Records and exceptional live performances by music artists during the weekends.
On December 16, fans and attendees were treated to a spectacular show by the rising OPM artist and Spotify’s multi-achiever, Zack Tabudlo, along with his band. Zack performed his prominent songs such as “Pano,” “Nangangamba,” “Binibini,” and “Asan Ka Na Ba.” He also sang a live version of “Victim,” one of the tracks from his new album “3rd Time’s A Charm,” for the first time.
DJ MARGÁCHI was also present at the event, as she graced the stage as the second act of the mini-concert show. She captivated the crowd with electrifying beats, setting the tone and ensuring everyone had a blast.
All fun, and giant games!
Inside the distillery on tour, everyone can elevate the fun by playing other activities like Giant Jenga, Giant 4 In A Row, barrel painting, and foosball. At the Sampling Bar, all registered attendees get free ice cream from Kurimu, along with a complimentary first Jameson Ginger & Lime, a crowd’s favorite signature drink. If you’re interested, you can even purchase a bottle and have it personalized with glass engraving.
Celebrate the holiday season by visiting the world’s best Jameson Distillery On Tour with your family, friends, and loved ones. JDOT’s tickets are free, but the event area can only accommodate a maximum of 80 people. For walk-ins, you can register easily through QR code scanning, while media personnel can reconfirm their names on the list.
Face the world without fear, just as John Jameson would say, “Sine Metu!”
