Still not over Asia Artist Awards 2023? Here’s a recap of its most unhinged and funniest moments

It’s been a few days since the 2023 Asia Artist Awards which was held in the Philippines for the very first time. The awards show is held annually by South Korean media brand Star News and was now on its 8th year. The awards show gives recognition to the outstanding achievements of South Korean artists in the music, television, and film industry.

As it was the Philippines’ first time ever to helm such a prestigious awards show in the eyes of the South Korean media, expectations were on a different kind of high. Famous K-pop groups, singers, and Korean celebrities had attended this year’s show, with big names such as NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN BSS, Kim Seon-ho, Ahn Hyo-seop, Moon Ga-young, Lee Joon-hyuk, Kim Se-jeong, and so much more.

Filipino artists and actors also attended the show—Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, and Melai Cantiveros dazzled and became the darlings of the awards show, while Hori7on, SB19, and Ben&Ben became the first Filipino acts to ever participate in it.

Though marred with some controversies during the show, the awards show did turn out to be a great success—with this year marking some of the most memorable moments ever. Not to mention, even our very own Melai Cantiveros became a headliner in South Korea because of how funny she was.

And so, here are some of the most unhinged, and funniest moments ever to even happen at the 2023 Asia Artists Awards. These aren’t ranked in any order, btw.

In short, thank you to Ryan Bang, Melai Cantiveros, and SVT BSS for turning up the vibe for the 2023 AAA’s. Deserve niyo ang first honor [You deserve the first honor awards].
