South Korean artist Han Seung Woo held his first solo concert in the country last Sunday, August 2o, at SM North EDSA SkyDome as the last stop of his first Asia Tour “HAN SEUNG WOO Special Live [ONE].”
Han energetically opened the concert with his songs “Intro” and “Dive Into” from his recently released EP FRAME, whereas HAN_As (Han’s fandom name) enthusiastically wave their blue luminous light sticks as he performed.
In between performances, he shared that the word “one” reminds him of HAN_As – as it is similar to the word “one” in the Korean language which is “ha-na (romanization).”
As such, HAN_As became even more united as he delivered a sexy performance with his song “I Just Want Love” from his solo debut EP FAME, screaming and chanting as loud as they can.
He then made the crowd swoon saying he would pick up all the hearts of HAN_As before asking “Mahal niyo ba ko?” – to which the fans loudly answered “Yes!”
Han continued to perform several songs from his new EP, including, “Burn,” “Runnin’ High,” and “Lovelorn,” before watching the heartfelt fan-made VCR from PH HAN_As. “Even though I can’t give everyone my warm words, please remember that I love you, I value you, and I cherish you,” said Han after the VCR. He ended his set with the song “We Loved Each Other” from his EP FADE, while HAN_As are throwing purple petals – before ultimately ending the event with a Hi-Touch session.
Han’s Asia Tour started last July performing in Seoul, Bangkok, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and ending in Manila.
The 28-year-old made his debut in 2016 as a member of the K-pop group VICTON and participated in Mnet’s audition reality show Produce X 101, where debuted in the project group X1 in 2019. He returned as a member of VICTON in 2020 following the disbandment of X1 and made his solo debut with the EP FAME in the same year.
Han recently finished his mandatory military enlistment early this year and released his third EP FRAME, featuring the single “Dive Into.”
