‘Drag Race Philippines’ Season 2 set to reveal cast on July 11

Fans of the popular show “Drag Race Philippines” have something to be excited about as the batch of queens for the second season is set to be revealed on July 11.

In a tweet, the show announced the schedule when the new cast will be presented. “Mabuhayyy!! #DragRacePH Season 2 is coming soon! Meet your new batch of queens July 11th!,” the caption reads.

The first season of “Drag Race Philippines” aired last year and Precious Paula Nicole became the winner.

The 11 other queens who were part of the first season were Marina Summers, Brigiding, Corazon, Eva Le Queen, Gigi Era, Lady Morgana, Minty Fresh, Prince, Turing, Viñas DeLuxe, and Xilhouete.

“Drag Race Philippines” was hosted by actor Paolo Ballesteros who also became the main judge along with drag queen Jiggly Caliente and TV host-actress Kaladkaren. The show has been known for its exciting challenges and iconic lip-sync performances of the queens.

World of Wonder (WOW) made the announcement in October last year that the drag reality show and its behind-the-scenes series called “Drag Race Philippines: Untucked” will be coming back for another season.

The production company announced the renewal of the show and the “Untucked” series it has on social media along with announcements for other franchises of Drag Race.

The casting for the second season of the popular show was opened in October last year as well. “If you have the Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent to become the Philippines’ Next Drag Superstar, show us how you pop off ate and apply before December 1 at dragraceph.com,” it said on the caption.
