Another treat for you ARMYs!
While you’re still reeling from the event of hiatus announcement, this might be one of your plot twists for 2023.
Jungkook, one of the members of the K-Pop group BTS, made some fans’ wishes come true over the past weekend. That was when he released two of his fan-favorite Soundcloud- and YouTube-exclusive tracks for streaming platforms. Those tracks are the bossa nova-ish Still With You (2022) and the ballad My You (2020).
The said tracks were earlier released during the group’s annual Festa celebration. While his fellow members have other things to do like solo projects and joining the mandatory military service, Jungkook is set to release his debut solo single Seven on July 14.
Before venturing to having his own official single, he went into some collaborations with other artists such as Fahad Al- Kubaisi (Dreamers, FIFA 2022 World Cup soundtrack) and Charlie Puth (Left and Right).
Just last week, talent agency BIGHIT announced that Seven will be coming soon, describing it as an ‘invigorating summer song.’ The announcement also gave ARMYs a hint of what’s more to happen.
Despite some members having begun joining the military service, the group is still active via solo singles, albums, and group projects. Last June 9, the group released their new single Take Two to commemorate their tenth year in the music industry.
Still With You and My You are now both available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
