The Philippines’ biggest advertising awards show is back

Calling all agencies! The Award That Matters has returned, and it’s celebrating a big year. The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As) has officially announced that the much anticipated 25th Agency of the Year Awards (AOY) is open and looking for your entries.

AOY celebrates and honors the best-performing creative, media, digital, and activation agencies in the Philippines; this includes audio, film, and post-production houses as well.

The awards show is also open to independent agencies. In fact, last year, AOY demonstrated just how powerful of a force independent agencies in the Philippines are. Creative house Propel Manila swept five categories on top of winning 2022 Digital Agency of the Year and 2022 Independent Agency of the Year. Meanwhile, the strategy and creative solutions team Octopus & Whale won its first-ever plate: Independent Agency of the Year for Best in Industry Leadership and Community Service.

To celebrate 25 incredible years, this iteration of AOY is a tribute to the thriving advertising industry — one that has endured, evolved, and flourished in a world defined by change. The theme is “Beautiful Evolution.” 

These fast-moving times call for retrospection, as well as anticipation for what the future might bring, shared AOY 2023 Management Committee Chair Tey San Diego, who is also the co-founder of independent ad agency Seven A.D.

“Personally, it makes me appreciate how we have grown despite (and because of) all the disruptions that we experienced from all fronts,” Tey said. “I am excited to see how those experiences shape our entries this year.”
