POC Swifties frown upon Taylor Swift’s romantic involvement with controversial Matt Healy

Swifties who are persons of color, continue denouncing the brewing romantic relationship between Taylor Swift and Matt Healy, following the latter’s recent racist and sexist controversies.

“The 1975” frontman has been involved in an issue three months ago when he made biting and degrading comments about rapper Ice Spice in the “The Adam Friedland Show” podcast with hosts Nick Mullen and Adam Friedland. During the episode, the three personalities poke fun at Spice — saying that the rapper looks like a “chubby Chinese lady” and a “f*****g Eskimo”. When Mullen and Friedland mimicked Hawaiian and Chinese accents, Healy cracked up at them.

The “Somebody Else” singer later made an apology for his controversial offense during his band’s show in New Zealand. He felt sorry for Spice and said that he wouldn’t want the rapper to think that he was a d—k.

“I just feel a bit bad, and I’m kind of a bit sorry if I’ve offended you,” he addressed the audience, which some noticed that it sounded more of a Non-apology Apology.

“Ice Spice, I’m sorry. It’s not because I’m annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It’s because I don’t want Ice Spice to think I’m a d***. I love you, Ice. Spice I’m so sorry,” he concluded.

Yet, internet users are not convinced with Healy’s apology. According to them, throwing off offensive remarks shouldn’t be labeled as “misconstrued;” he should just admit that he’s racist, instead. Take a look at some of the comments:

Moreover, the 34-year-old vocalist opened up on the same podcast about the time he masturbated to hardcore pornography,  featuring “brutalized women”. According to sources, he was watching porn videos on a website called “Ghetto Gaggers,” which features the brutalization of black women in most of its clips. The derogatory podcast episode was then removed from Apple and Spotify.

Due to his racist and misogynist views, POC Swifties aren’t happy with Swift’s involvement with the controversial pop musician.

In a TikTok video posted by Jordan, a black content creator who goes by the TikTok username @adhdwhileblack on May 12, she expressed her dismay with Swift-Healy’s growing relationship.

“To say that I’m disappointed would be the truth. To say that I’m shocked would be a lie. And for anyone white woman that has ever questioned any Black or person of color’s distrust in you, this is why. Because you are nobody’s ally,” she explained.

She continued: “This is not a ‘bad boy core’, OK? This is, like, racist core. I just I just could not be more confused by this and just, like, concerned about it. And to all the Swifties whose main concern is that he’s greasy and sweaty and gross and an alcoholic, like, can you please dig your head out of your a**, please?”

The content creator didn’t expect that the “Speak Now” songstress would fall for his trap, knowing that she’s an intelligent and successful woman.

“I think that’s why I didn’t believe the rumors at first because Taylor is a very smart businesswoman, so for her to be with someone like Matty so publicly, felt like a really dumb choice to me,” she claimed.

She also added that Swift doesn’t promote feminism in general, but rather “white woman feminism”, which only cares about white men’s welfare and the things that will benefit the white community.

Currently, there’s a “growing resistance” from POC Swifties as Swift continues to be mum about Healy and his controversies:

Swift and Healy have been rumored to be dating, after the former’s breakup with Joe Alwyn.
