NewJeans reportedly set to have a comeback in July

ADOR’s rookie girl group, NewJeans, is reported to have a comeback in July.

According to a Korean media outlet, the group will pre-release a new song on July 7 (KST) and will release an album by the end of the month, followed by promotional activities.

It was initially believed that they’d be pre-releasing in June, but the report says that they’ll be releasing it in the same month.

As such, the group was recently seen filming a music video in Portugal.

However, their agency hasn’t released official details about their comeback, yet, “It is true that NewJeans is preparing for a July comeback. We will inform you once the schedule is confirmed,” a source from their agency said to another Korean media outlet.

This will be the “Monster Rookies” first music release after the promotional single “Zero” in April, and their first comeback after the release of their single album, ‘OMG’, including the songs “OMG” and “Ditto.”

The quintet group, consisting of members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, debuted last July 2022 with the EP, ‘New Jeans’, including their hit songs “Attention” and “Hype Boy”.

The group recently received a Guinness World Record for being the ‘Fastest K-Pop Act to Reach 1 Billion Streams on Spotify’ for their previous releases in just 219 days following their debut.
