Jennie’s debut in the 76th Cannes Film Festival is not the only milestone the K-pop idol had recently. It can be remembered that she also made her debut in the 2023 Met Gala.

She was not also the only BLACKPINK member who stepped in the event. Rosé also made her debut in the film festival this year, according to a report. The K-pop idol attended the red carpet for the screening of the film “Monster.”

Jennie’s debut in the 2023 Cannes Festival brought excitement and joy to many blinks (fans of BLACKPINK). Many blinks expressed how happy they were to see the K-pop idol in the film festival.

“From being a fan and singing abel’s songs during her trainee days, to having a Hollywood series with him. So proud of you jennie,” a blink tweeted. “I’m so proud of jennie. She deserves all the love in this world and I can’t wait for her to shine more in this industry. This is just the beginning!” another fan tweeted.
