Swiftie becomes security guard to attend ‘The Eras Tour’ Nashville show

Accountant-turned-Taylor Swift’s security guard, Davis Perrigo, recently went viral online after he was recorded singing along to a song during Swift’s concert in Nashville.

Unlike other Swifties in the concert, Perrigo was there not as a regular audience but as a security guard of the popular American singer-songwriter.

Perrigo said in a report that he applied to become a security guard in the concert to see the famous American singer-songwriter. This happened because he could not have the ticket for the show.

Many Swifties (avid fans of Taylor Swift) saw Perrigo while he was singing along to a song during the concert. This caused the security guard to become viral online.

In a video posted by Ryan Bailey on TikTok, Perrigo was seen singing along Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble”. He was seen singing the lyrics of the hit song with Taylor Swift performing behind him.

The song “I Knew You Were Trouble” was released in 2012. It was part of the album ‘Red,’ Swift’s fourth studio album.

Perrigo shared in the report that his wife joked to him that he sings songs of Taylor Swift with so much passion for someone who has never been broken up with.

The security guard shared the video that went viral to his colleagues. He was surprised to see how much attention the video of him gained online.

Following the reports about the viral video, some fans said that Perrigo was smart in applying for the job to see Taylor Swift at her concert.

“He gets paid while being a fan. Good for him,” an online user said in a retweet. “This was actually a smart move. Like he probably worked all three shows and got to be there and got paid to be there,” a Swiftie wrote in another retweet.
