A HONNE pre-concert Q&A event was held at the activity center of Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Paranaque City. The Q&A was hosted by Myx VJ Samm Alvero.
The duo, composed of James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck, was asked on why they want to return to the Philippines to perform, in which they answered that Filipino fans are special to them that’s why they considered coming back here.
“It is amusing. Everyone is vocal and exciteable [sic]. And it’s so much fun that we do shows here,” said Clutterbuck.
They were also asked which of the HONNE songs are their favorites. They picked fan favorites, such as “no song without you” and “free love.”.
After their Manila show on May 10, the duo will fly to Cebu and Davao for two more shows. HONNE admits that while in those areas, there is one thing that they would like to do while exploring the place.
“Since we’ve told people that we’re going to perform in Cebu and Davao, so many people from here and from all over the place told us that they are really beautiful places to go,” said Hatcher. ” So we’re looking forward to just having some time looking around. We’re hiring some mopeds. We’re just going to drive around Cebu. So that’s very exciting,” he added.
Clutterbuck jokingly added that they don’t know how to drive a moped so it is a ‘fingers-crossed’ moment when that happens.
Before the event ended, Hatcher and Clutterbuck stated that whenever they hear about the Philippines, they think about the word ‘choir’ because they’ve witnessed how Filipinos sing out loud during concerts. The crowd were then put into an ambush voice rehearsals, singing the duo’s hits ‘no song without you’ and ‘free love.’
The two then said “Mahal ko kayo.”
HONNE is set to perform at the Araneta Coliseum on May 10. They are also set to hold days 2 and 3 in Davao and Cebu on May 12 and May 14, respectively.
This event is presented by Ovation Productions.
