BTS member Suga started his first solo world tour at the UBS Arena in New York on April 26, Wednesday ET.
Suga mostly performed the songs from his first official solo album “D-Day” which was released this year, and some from his previous mixtapes “Agust D” and “D-2” that were released in 2016 and 2020. The first leg of the tour in New York somehow made up a trilogy as he performed some songs from the three eras.

Suga, so far, is the first BTS member to embark on a solo world tour. For the next two months, he is set to perform 25 more concerts across nine cities. Those cities that the artists would perform at are in the U.S., Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and South Korea, according to the group’s talent management agency Big Hit Music.
“D-Day,” Suga’s first official solo album, topped in Japan’s Oricon Weekly Album Ranking Chart earlier this week. The album consists of tracks like People Pt. 2, Snooze, and HUH?! that features fellow music artists IU, the late Ryuchi Sakamoto, and fellow BTS member j-hope, respectively.
“D-Day” also topped earlier in last week’s new music poll that was conducted by Billboard. 49.72 percent of music fans chose the debut solo album as their favorite new release, according to a poll published on April 21. Trailing behind the album are Grupo Frontera & Bad Bunny’s un x100to with 21.47 percent, The Weeknd & Future’s Double Fantasy with 17.51 percent, Kim Petras & Nicki Minaj’s Alone with 6.21 percent.
