WATCH: Golden retriever influencer ‘retrieves’ gold to give as gift to family’s helper

Ah, dogs. We really don’t deserve them.

A three-year-old golden retriever and petfluencer named Cooper recently went viral on TikTok for an action many users deem was a sweet gesture towards his family’s helper. The cute woofer, who is known on the said video platform for the adorable and goofy videos of his everyday life, has “rewarded” his family’s Indonesian helper with a gold bracelet, a “gesture of thanks” as the helper has taken care of him since he was a puppy.

In the viral video, the “Singapore’s golden boy” can be seen clasping a red jewelry box in his mouth while waiting for his helper to enter the room. When the latter entered, she was surprised and all over the moon to see Cooper’s gift: a gold bracelet.

“When your golden retriever retrieves gold. Surprising our helper with a little gift,” Cooper’s owner wrote.

According to the video, the gift was “retrieved” using one of the dog’s paid TikTok campaigns.

The video has TikTok users swooning at the sweet gesture of Cooper and his owner, praising how the golden retriever has essentially lived up to his name.

Cooper may not know how to speak the human language, but we can all agree that the family helper deserves the golden reward from the golden boy himself. Taking care of a dog isn’t easy as it’s a big responsibility, but it’s definitely a rewarding experience.
