Who says only bouquets of flowers and chocolates can be given as gifts for Valentine’s Day?
Take a look at Bikers For A Cause and MMDA’s joint “Valentine’s Handog Para Kila Manong Bikers” event that took place a day before Valentine’s Day 2023 at Welcome Rotonda, España Boulevard, Quezon City. Over 120 helmets, water bottle cage holders and rear lights were given as presents to manong bikers this Valentine’s Day as part of their continued advocacy in helping workers bike safer.
Here are some photos from the group’s Pre-Valentine event:
“This is why we do what we do. Helmet saves lives,” Mr. Mike Serrano, the President and Founder of Bikers For A Cause stated, adding that they wanted to ensure the safety of each and every biker on the road. This event was also mounted in the hopes of reminding everyone of the importance of our unsung heroes, especially our dear manong bikers and riders who have been making our lives easier as far back as when people relied heavily on this workforce for door-to-door shipments and deliveries at the onset of the pandemic.
You may contact Bikers For A Cause via their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/bikersforacause for any kind of help, assistance and donations for their future advocacies or campaigns.
