Panic ensues over reported glitch in Messenger’s ‘unsend message’ feature

We’re seeing just how valuable the ‘unsend message’ feature is for this generation, as its mere “glitch” sent Filipinos on a panic mode.

On the evening of February 3, many online users reported that they were having problems using Messenger’s ‘unsend’ feature. Although the ‘unsend for everyone’ button is still visible, it was not serving its function for some unknown reasons, hence the belief that the feature is being removed from the app.

Certainly, our anxious selves could never.

Just imagine not having the ‘unsend’ feature any more: No more being able to undo wrong-sent messages and photos, typos, embarrassing long confessional messages, drunk messages, duck and bobs and vagene pics…you get the picture–we’re just not ready to live without this feature.

What weird timing since the official Twitter account of Messenger just tweeted a tutorial on how to use the feature last February 1.

As of this writing, nothing is confirmed yet about the reason behind the app’s glitch.

Are we going to bid goodbye to Messenger’s ‘unsend message’ feature anytime soon? Well, we’ll never know because Mark Zuckerberg’s empire is just so darn unpredictable. Just be cautious for now, folks.
