Norwegian-Filipino singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Clinton Kane has shared new song “AVO TOAST.” An instant fan favorite, the track perfectly blends Clinton’s signature lyricism with infectious, upbeat production as the rising star pleads for patience in a relationship. In speaking about “AVO TOAST,” Clinton says: “What’s funny is that I’ve always hated avocado toast. I wasn’t sure if I’d release this song because it didn’t feel like me for a while. But people kept begging for it and I have a toxic relationship with peer pressure, so I sat with it and fell in love…with the song (not the food). I’m excited for the world to have this one and can’t wait to release the rest of my new music.”
“AVO TOAST” follows the October release of “MEXICO,” Clinton’s first offering of new music since dropping his debut album MAYBE SOMEDAY IT’LL ALL BE OK in July. The rising star has been on tour in support of the project and will conclude his first run of international headline dates tonight in a familiar place, Perth, Australia. Stay tuned for more from Clinton Kane in 2023!
