We shouldn’t really listen to people like Oli London anymore

So, did you all hear the news? Oli London is apparently back to being straight? Like, he/she/they isn’t/aren’t identifying him/her/themselves as Korean anymore? When that was their entire personality all over social media?

No more (South) Korea? No more being Rosé from BLACKPINK? No more Jimin?

Well, apparently, that’s how their truth is now. The “brand new me” as they have said in a very recent TikTok posted last December 26. The content of his TikTok (fairly) recently have been focused on one specific race and gender, which have turned everyone’s attention towards the British social media personality.

Yup. Oli London has now set his sights on “finding a Filipino girlfriend to marry and have Filipino babies with”. Welp.

This is where Pinoys usually say “Pinoy Pride 🇵🇭”, but this isn’t really a thing where we should say such a thing. Actually, it’s quite embarrassing, and that’s an understatement.

If we take a look at what Oli London has been posting on his social media recently, you could see that it’s far from his personality all these months ago. Unlike before where you could see him posting praises for South Korea, K-Pop, and the LGBTQIA+ community, he’s now doing the opposite—misgendering people who are fighting for the rights of women, posting Tweets saying that children shouldn’t be exposed to drag, among many…many others.

Since the moment he turned into a viral social media personality, people have been calling him and his content ridiculous, which tbh, is still publicity. You know what they say, bad publicity is still publicity—the more that people talk about him, the more he becomes relevant despite being quite the contrary.

This is when we should start de-platforming him and taking all relevancy away from him. In the first place, he isn’t even relevant. He’s just a typical British social media personality trying to find their place on social media. He’s tried venturing into different niches and kept getting rejected every single time.

Now that he’s trying to insert himself in the narrative and algorithms of Filipinos, he’s already on his way to becoming one of those foreigners who use Pinoy baiting as a tactic to gain traction and relevancy—AGAIN.

Seriously, we could say a lot more about Oli London and how ridiculous he has been. Evidence #1 is when he “identified” himself as Korean.

But that’s just becoming contrary to what we just said. Anyway, stop talking about you-know-who # 1237648. Yes, we made up that number because our country already has enough “you-know-whos”.
