Traffic and party? It can be mixed!
The POP! team was invited on a city road trip to enjoy the bustling night life in the metro, while aboard the Monkey Shoulder’s Monkey Mixer Van–an on-the-road experience that promises to unlock the enjoyment of playful nights out despite being stuck in traffic.
The party started at the Monkey Shoulder Christmas Tree in Bonifacio Global City, where guests were treated to some delightful Monkey Shoulder cocktail mixes at a Pop-Up Bar, served by their friendly bartenders as everyone waited for the tour to start.
The tour featured a bar crawl to 3 hip bars in and around Makati, each one with their own unique Monkey Shoulder blend. That night, the tour started with the arrival of the Monkey Mixer Van, a cool and unique custom vehicle that’s outfitted with a DJ booth, a disco ball, a karaoke machine and bar that can serve free-flowing cocktails, such as a tasty mix of Monkey Shoulder and Dry Ginger Ale with a garnish of an orange wedge. It is a vehicle unmatched in its ability to help you unwind and ignore the Manila traffic, because the party begins inside this van!
Everyone was provided with a Monkey Mixer Bingo card, where each bingo square corresponded to activities that participants have to accomplish throughout the night to win exclusive prizes. From a fake accent, to a spontaneous post on Instagram, it was another source of amusement for all the participants aboard the Monkey Mixer Van!
The party inside the van transitioned to the first destination for the night, Bar 10-4, a speakeasy bar with great ambiance perfect for a drink or two. The bar served their Monkey Shoulder blend that had similarities to a Pina Colada, it made for a drink that gave everyone an energy boost for the rest of the night! The bartenders also became part of the experience, as they even performed some magic tricks and engaged in fun conversations with the guests.
The next destination was the vibrant Salt and Ice over at BGC. The bar’s highlight was its own crane game that featured some awesome Monkey Shoulder merch that guests could win for themselves. Their Monkey Shoulder concoction for the night was a drink with a striking green color, a strong sweet and sour blend they called the “ICU”–a drink as vibrant and energetic as the place.
The last destination of the party was The Back Room in BGC. A very posh bar, one needed to go through a dark hallway before finding themselves inside the beautiful bar’s interior. All the participants were shown to a section of the bar where they were served Monkey Shoulder shots that incorporated grapefruits as its primary add-on, which showed the versatility of Monkey Shoulder in its mixing potential. The mood of the location matched with the delicious drinks made it a perfect end to the Monkey Shoulder bar crawl.
