November 8 truly was a heartbreaking day for Treasure Makers as two members of Treasure are leaving and will no longer promote with the K-pop band.
The band’s management, YG Entertainment, officially announced on Tuesday the termination of Bang Yedam and Mashiho’s contract as Treasure members and YG artists.
It can be remembered that the two members went on a break from the band’s group activities just last May.
According to the management’s statement, the decision was made as Yedam needs time to completely recover from his health condition while Mashiho is taking a new career path as a producer.
Treasure Makers were understandably shocked and motional over the news. A lot of fans have been waiting for the two members’ comeback since their hiatus six months ago. But it seems, Treasure is transforming into a 10-piece band and is continuing without Yedam and Mashiho.

Treasure was formed through YG Treasure Box and debuted in August 2020 as a 12-piece with single album ‘The First Step: Chapter One’ They’re also known for their hit single ‘Darari’.
