Midnasty releases their second fire track for 2022, ‘Nissan’

Local rap trio Midnasty has established a legacy in the OPM scene that’s over 20 years in the making. Founded by brothers Fry Kho and Murray Kho in 2001, the band started with a dream of putting Dumaguete City on the map and would later evolve into a mission of bringing Visayan culture to the world.

With its current members Mark Villamil Ausejo, Earl Neil B. Kho, and Jose Ramon Kho, Midnasty continues to generate many achievements under their belt. The group now has over 100,000,000 plus streams and views across various media platforms. They also have a massively successful first album accompanied by nationwide tours with turnouts of ten to thirty thousand people. Midnasty is indeed the epitome of hard work and proof of how perseverance can pay off.

Today, Midnasty not only sets its sights onto achieving new milestones in their careers, but also taking the time to give back and cultivate opportunities for local artists in different communities throughout the Visayas region. Their movement, Paraisla, aims to bring out the best talents hidden in the Visayas region.

This year, Midnasty is set to release their long-awaited sophomore album entitled “Pacific Islander” and is out to set the tone of their career by dropping their newest banger, “Nissan,” a fast paced, colorful track speaking on love, car chases, and bringing the islands together. Melodic flows and cinematic storytelling make this one ride listeners won’t forget.
