Trolls, amiright? They’re everywhere on the internet these days, trying to inject their irrelevant and offensive opinions in every conversation for attention.
One such troll decided to comment on one of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s post on Facebook last week. Schwarzenegger, who is a famous actor, politician, philanthropist, author, and former bodybuilder, posted a video of himself with athletes competing in the Special Olympics last week saying that he is “so inspired by the great athletes” he met in Austria. He has long been an avid supporter and outspoken advocate for the Special Olympics. Here’s the same video from his Twitter:

Normal people who saw the post found it heartwarming and inspiring, but the troll in question thought it was the best opportunity to share his opinion to people who never even asked for it. The comment was insensitive, hurtful, and showed a great deal of arrogance. Judge for yourself:
Schwarzenegger, being the all-around nice guy that he is, did not stoop down to the troll’s level and instead transformed the conversation into a teachable moment about what it means to be a proper human being. Here’s how he responded:
Schwarzenegger urged the commenter to learn from the athletes who have “more of every positive human quality” than him and warned that if he does not change his ways, he would remain a “sad, pitiful, jealous internet troll” whom no one would ever remember.
The troll got schooled so well he later deleted his comment from the thread. To that we say:
People who saw the take-down praised Schwarzenegger for his words. Those who have people with special needs in their families thanked him for standing up for the community. Someone even suggested he should be president instead of Trump! Here are some of those comments:
