When it made its first voyage in 1912, only wealthy people could afford to be onboard Titanic. Apparently, one still need to pay a lot money to see even the decaying remains of Titanic under the sea. With $105,129 (PhP 5,273,796.29) per person, the price adjusted for inflation, is equivalent to $4,350 that a first-class passenger would have paid to sail on Titanic in 1912.

Participants who will dive day and night and “…will be expected to contribute to the mission (if even in just a cursory way) by assisting with sub-sea communications and undertaking basic tasks,” The Telegraph added. There will also be lectures, discussions, mission updates, and dive briefs with deep ocean explorers and scientists.

This will be the first time the site will be open for exploration again since the last crewed mission in 2005, and a series of 12-day dives where groups of 20 tourists, paying $59,000 each for the centennial of Titanic’s sinking in 2012.
